Hi, my name is Keith Appleby, owner, proprietor, CEO and original creator of Applebeez Property Clearance Ltd.
I was born way back in 1976 in Iserlohn, Germany however have lived in the UK all my life, dedicating as much time as possible to helping others. Since being young, my ambition has been to start up and own a flourishing professional company, however life as we know has ups and downs that in most circumstances cannot be helped.
The idea behind Applebeez Property Clearance originally began life back in 2018. When my Aunties mother passed away, whilst assisting my family member, with the clearing of her mother’s house, I realised that the furniture in the house was worth a lot of money, as it was less than 2 years old and in immaculate condition, however at the time, the clearance company that came into the property asked for over 3 and a half thousand and as a consequence I asked myself why they didn’t sell the items on and give a cheaper price. This is when I came up with the idea for Applebeez.
In 2020 unfortunately I lost my father, who left me a small but helpful inheritance, as a result I purchased a large transit van and began life working on Applebeez Property Clearance, however at the time, I only utilized Facebook, and as such didn’t receive much in the way of clearances, most of the work was for moving furniture. This lasted for approximately 5 months, before the vehicle I bought blew up on me. At this point all was lost, and the business (then a sole trader) was closed.
from then on things went downhill, I had a nervous breakdown (mid life crisis) and as such debts piled up and my credit rating dropped to abysmal levels.
In 2012 I finally pulled myself around and went to the Benefits agency and asked to be put on a security course, which I completed, and immediately began working as a supervisor for a security company based in Newcastle. I worked their for a year, before getting a different job working as a security guard for the TV industry on shows and films such as “Vera” and “The Dark Prince”.
In the September of 2023 work in the security industry dried up, so I went to work as an amazon delivery driver, unfortunately I was paying £900 pound a month for a vehicle, and as over the last two years I had vastly improved my credit rating, I purchased a brand new van for the job. Upon receiving the van, I thought to myself, why????
I began Applebeez property clearance once again in December of 2023, and have never looked back.
In August of 2024 we finally became and registered as a Ltd Company, with both my mother owning 45% and my sister owning 10% of the company, myself also owning 45%.
Today we are a six figure company and still growing. Hoping to become one of the, if not the best and no 1 company servicing the North East of England, with plans in the future to expand nationwide, and even possible International.
